The Lionel Vision Line New York Central 700e was the 2019 Train Tournament Winner. Will it repeat? Will it even be nominated and selected? or Will there be a new Champion? The 2020 OGF Train Tournament kicks off on March 7, when Nominations open. OGF Members can nominate up to 16 locomotives for inclusion in the Tournament. The Selection Committee will post Brackets a week later and the Predictions can begin. First Round Matches begin on March 19 and a Champion crowned on March 29. All matches are decided by popular vote and a tie-breaker sorts out matches that are too close to call. It’s lots of fun to vote and lobby for your favorite Locomotive and even more fun to predict the outcome of every match. Be the best at predicting the outcome and walk away with the Grand Prize and bragging rights. Start planning your nominations. It all begins March 7. |

Loco Madness!!! Loco Madness! Is perfect Adam. For anyone who didn’t follow last year’s tournament, Loco Madness is designed to mimic the college basketball tournaments that happen in March each year. We will select 16 locomotives from all those that are nominated. Then they will be divided into 4 regions with the number 1 seed in each region being native to the region. (For example: a Union Pacific loco might be placed in the West region while a NYC loco might be placed in the East region.) This only applies to number 1 seeds. The other 12 locos will be placed to provide interesting matchups. Just like an Office Pool, Members can fill out brackets that predict the winners. There will be no entry fee but there will be a Grand Prize. |
